Still catching up...

One of our favorite things to do this summer was to watch the thunderstorms roll in. There is nothing like a midwest thunderstorm, and it was fun to see Addi get so excited over the thunder, lightning and rainfall. She would stand at the sliding glass door and just watch the rain. Every time she heard thunder she would say, "Issat thunder?" "Yeah!"

Growing

I can't believe I do this still, but here are my growing baby belly shots. I will be glad I did this one day, right?

 20 Weeks

 22 Weeks

 24 Weeks

 28 Weeks

 30 Weeks

35 Weeks

For some reason, these pictures don't quite capture how large I actually am (or feel, for that matter). Must be a really good angle. Anyway, 37 weeks tomorrow! Woohoo!

Leaves

Chad mowed the lawn for the last time this season the other day and was kind enough to rake three big piles of leaves for Addi to play in. The expression on her face in these pictures say it all.

She would stand at the edge of the pile, and then fling herself back into the leaves.

Halloween 2012

These are the last of the Halloween pics, I promise. For being my least favorite holiday, I sure took a ton of pictures. =)

Addi hated cleaning out her pumpkin. It was hilarious.

But she loved drawing on it!

The finished product, courtesy of Dada. She loved her kitty cat pumpkin.

Before trick-or-treating.

She's showing me what an elephant does.

It was an awful evening, complete with freezing rain and frigid temps, but that didn't stop her from getting candy and suckers!

Playgroup Party

We threw a little Halloween party for the kiddos in playgroup a few days before Halloween. Here are some pics of my sweet little elephant.

And here are some pics of my not-so-sweet little elephant, trying to steal the bean bags from her buddy.

 Throw it, girl!

We made some cute Halloween crafts...

 Decorated pumpkin sugar cookies...

 Enjoyed Halloween-themed food...

And just had a good time hanging out!

Irons Fruit Farm

We live close to a lot of really fun pumpkin patches. We like to go to Irons Fruit Farm because they have delicious apple fritters and donuts. Addi loved it this year because there were lots of animals to look at. And of course she loved the treats.
